Death.... : )

I watch this all the time. I have had my fair share of it in my personal life, but mostly in my professional life as a nurse. My faith is strong and my beliefs are steadfast, but there is always that tear that finds it's way down my cheek. I had a wonderful experience during the night last night with what we call a death visit. Giving a lavender bath and dressing someone in a lovely dress, all the while listening to her two friends talk lovingly about how she crossed over. Reaching out for something and then softness covering her as she left. We talked about what happened then and what happens after. or what we believe happens. No one knows for sure, but I do believe that energy never dies, therefore we never do. Religion, spirituality, beliefs, all come together and burst apart when you are at the end. A strange phenomenon, death is. What I did tell them was that I believe we are not gone, just changed forms into non-physical and are with our loved ones, and God, and that my sister is up there meeting their friend, smiling down on us, glad that we took part in this together and are comforting each other. We really don't know, but it helps to know we are not alone here, and hopefully there, but we are all in this together and I am appreciative that I can help.
